  • (NEW!) Abstract submission date for Special Sessions has now been extended to 15th December, 2016.
    The abstract notification for Special Sessions will be gradually sent to each authors starting 15th Jan -> 31st January 2017.
  • (NEW!) Abstract submissions for Theme 1 -> Theme 7 has already been closed on 1st October 2016 and notifications has also been sent out. Authors can view the results by logging in to our conference system via the website.

  • Conference proceedings will be indexed in ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, DBLP, SCOPUS, and Google Scholar.
    After the conference, quality papers will be invited to be published in a special issues of IAHR journals - JHR, JRBM, JHER, JoE, JAWER.

Global interest in water has increased rapidly in recent years. Many water issues are high on the political agenda, whether it concerns the lack of access to safe water and sanitation or the increase in water‐related disasters due to floods and droughts. Hydro-environment engineering and research is more important than ever. We look forward to meeting you at the IAHR World Congress in Kuala Lumpur from 13 August to 18 August 2017.
