SUBMISSION

1.

My paper has been accepted without correction, can I resubmit my full paper?
No resubmission is allowed for paper accepted without correction.

2.

My paper has been accepted with minor/ major correction, how to resubmit my full paper?
Log in through the congress website. Submission > Submission Status > Resubmit Full Paper (under Action) > Resubmit Full Paper (beside “Editor Recommendation).

3.

How to resubmit my copyright agreement?
Authors can upload copyright agreement after the full paper is accepted. Log in through the congress website. Submission > Submission Status > Click Paper Title > Update Final Paper (beside “Final Paper Details”) > Upload Copy Right Agreement.

What should I do if I forgot my password?
You may reset your password here. Please check your email Inbox / SPAM/ JUNK folders for the new password. Please contact the congress Secretariat at iahr2017sec@usainsgroup.com if you did not receive an email on password reset.

What are the rules for competing in the JFK Competition?
Paper submitted must be original works (not previously published elsewhere) and be sole-authored by a student only. The rules for administration can be found here.

How do I participate in the JFK Competition?
You may participate in the JFK Competition by selecting the checkbox that says “Please click here to participate in the John F. Kennedy Student Paper Competition”. The checkbox can be found under the Submission Menu -> Submission Status -> Edit Paper Info

I did not receive any notification on my paper status.
Please check your email Inbox / SPAM and JUNK folders. Should have need any assistance, you can email to the Congress Secretariat at iahr2017sec@usainsgroup.com

Where can I download the letter of invitation?
You may now log in through the congress website to download your invitation letter. The invitation letter can be found under the Account menu.

10.

I am the one submitted the paper, but I cannot attend the congress, can my paper presented by one of the co-authors of my paper?
As the review process has already over, the author needs to register for the paper to be included in the proceedings before 31st May 2017. The change of presenter can be arranged manually after the author has completed the registration. Please email the Congress Secretariat at iahr2017sec@usainsgroup.com if you need any assistance.

Can I participate in the congress if I did not submit a paper?
We welcome all to participate in the congress, including the various packages offered, such as Pre-Congress Workshops, Technical Visits, Post-Congress Visits, and Accompanying Person Programme. You may sign up an account through the congress website and select the programme you would like to join through the E-payment system.

When is the registration deadline?
The deadline for early bird registration will be 15 May 2017. The registration for the congress will close on 31 May 2017.

PAYMENT

I have submitted a paper, can I pay my registration fee during the congress?
All participants with a paper are required to register and pay by 7 June 2017 for papers to be included in the e-Proceedings.

14.

What does my registration fee include?
Registration fees for the 37th IAHR World Congress include admittance to all five days of the congress (14 – 18 August 2017), congress kit, keynote sessions, Ippen Lecture, and all technical sessions. Tea and lunch will be provided.

15.

Does the registration fee covers accommodation and congress packages such as congress dinner, workshops, technical visits, post-congress visits and accompanying person programme?
The registration fee excludes participants’ accommodation and congress packages. Participants are required to make their own hotel reservation, you may refer to http://www.iahrworldcongress.org/index.php/location/accommodation for more information about the hotels nearby the congress venue, and you may select the programmes you would like to join through the E-payment system.

18.

I am a student who would like to participate for the congress with student price, how do I update my student status?
You may log in through the congress website. Go to Account > My Account and click Edit Membership & Student Status and follow the instructions to update your student status.

19.

I am an IAHR Member and I would like to register for the conference with IAHR Member price, how do I update my IAHR membership?
You may log in through the congress website. Go to Account> My Account and then click Edit Membership & Student Status and follow the instructions to update your IAHR membership. You may search for your IAHR Membership ID from here

20.

I have updated my IAHR Membership/ Student status but my registration fee hasn’t been discounted.
Please allow 2 days for the verification and validation process by the Congress Secretariat. The discounted rate will be automatically updated once the proof has been validated.

 21.  I have made the payment, how do I download receipt?
You may log in through the congress website, go to Payment> Online Payment> Payment Details to download the tax invoice and receipt.

22. I have done the payment by bank transfer and I have uploaded the proof of payment, how long do I need to wait until the payment is verified?
As the bank draft transfer involve several banks from different countries, please allow 10 working days to complete the process. Thank you for your patience.

23. I have done payment for the congress but I couldn't make it. Can I get refund?
No cancellations will be accepted with a refund of all prepaid fees. Name changes are possible at all times for the fee of MYR200.00

24. How do I register to participate congress dinner, workshops, technical visits, post-congress visits and accompanying person programme?
Log in through the congress website Go to Payment > Online Payment and click Add IAHR Package.

25. Where can the participants get the tentative programme? Is it available for download?
You may have a look at this page for the tentative programme

26. When will the participants know the presentation schedule?
The presentation schedule will be released in July, the Congress Secretariat will inform all participants when the schedule is ready.

27. How much time will I have to present my paper?
Each presenter will have 12 minutes for presentation, and another 3 minutes for question and answer.

28. Is there a template available for preparing presentation slideshow?
The Congress Secretariat will inform all participants in July on the template of presentation slideshow.
